Tom Cox

Tom Cox is the author of ten books, including the Sunday Times top ten bestseller The Good, The Bad And The Furry, and 21st Century Yokel, which The Guardian described as "a rich, strange, oddly glorious brew" and has just been longlisted for the Wainwright Nature Writing prize. His account of his year as Britain's most inept golf professional, Bring Me The Head Of Sergio Garcia, was longlisted for the William Hill Sports Book Of The Year Award. Tom lives in Devon and writes about nature, folklore and the countryside, choosing to publish his work here on this website, having decided to stop writing for newspapers entirely in 2015. He also hosts a monthly radio show on the experimental rural radio station Soundart and does live rural storytelling tours around the UK. His debut book of fiction, Help The Witch, will be published by Unbound in October.
