Ralph and I have not done a newsletter on this site before but we have a few new things going on so thought now would be as good a time as any to tell you about them...

As mentioned in this post here, I've had a few problems with paypal cancelling people's

My first ever fiction book

is fully funded at Unbound (it broke their record for the fastest funding fiction title) but there's still a fair bit of time to reserve a special edition with your name in the back. The book is nearing completion and will be out in autumn this year. You can read a little bit about some of my more "method" than expected research for it in

I'll be doing quite a few talks at festivals this spring and summer. First of these will be at Chipping Norton Literary Festival on 27th April. Tickets can be purchased

. Others will include Derby Book Festival, Beaminster Festival, Port Eliot, Newark Book Festival and Tiverton Festival. I'll be posting full details of these and more here soon.

I moved back to Devon, to the southern edge of Dartmoor, last month. One of the many joys of this is that it means I can soon revive my Soundart Radio show. There'll be news on this very shortly but it will be an evening show, this time. You can listen to the archive of

. I am also planning to start doing some more storytelling walks on Dartmoor, having really enjoyed the one I did in autumn with pledgers for 21st Century Yokel.
